Vahagn Chakhalyan accuses Georgian President of subjecting Armenians to discrimination
Head of United Javakhk democratic alliance, now prisoner Vahagn Chakhalyan sent a letter to Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili
"Georgian authorities continue representing Javakheti Armenians as a threat to the country's territorial integrity. They say that to become full-fledged citizens of Georgia, Armenians just have to learn the Georgian language. But what should be done with numerous social, educational and economic problems Javakheti Armenians experience..? Armenians of Javakheti are willing to start a dialog and hope that they won't have to seek justice in European and international structures," the letter says.
