Armenia lifts requirement for vaccination certificates in public places

People entering public food establishments, hotels, gyms, libraries, museums, theaters and cinemas in Armenia will no longer need to present vaccination certificates or QR codes using special mobile applications, the Ministry of Health reveals.

The decision to ease restrictions across the country was made given the "relatively stable" situation in the country, health authorities said.

Under regulations, a a negative PCR test result from the past 72 hours or a certificate confirming a negative Covid-19 rapid antigen detection test taken within 24 hours could also be presented. This requirement has also been abolished.
