Georgia on Wednesday, June 15 abolished the requirement to provide certificates of vaccination against coronavirus and PCR tests when entering the country, Snob.ru reports citing a governmental decree.
In March, the Georgian authorities announced the imminent end of the Covid-19 epidemic in the country. In total, more than 1.6 million people were infected in the country, while over 16,000 patients died.
France, Germany, Cyprus, Spain and a number of other countries earlier lifted coronavirus restrictions.
