Another round of Armenian-Turkish reconciliation comes to an end
Using football vocabulary, one can say that the current time of Armenian-Turkish reconciliation titled "football diplomacy" is coming to an end with results not favorable for Armenia, an Armenian expert said."The matter is not whether the border will be opened but whether the status quo will change. But the border is unlikely to be opened unless progress in Karabakh process," Ruben Mehrabyan told PanARMENIAN.Net."Actually, the process of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide has been stopped. No one will hamper the "dialogue" between two states. No one will spoil relations with strategically important country. Furthermore, Barack Obama has every reason to explain Armenian Americans why he will not use the term Genocide in his April 24 statement. And last but not least, the international community does link resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict with opening of the Armenian-Turkish border. This is Turkey's third achievement. So, the result we have is 3:0 in Turkey's favor," he said.
