Salaries in Nagorno-Karabakh in the first six months of 2022 were higher than those in Azerbaijan in the reporting period, according to RFE/RL’s Azerbaijani service.

According to the report, average monthly salary in Nagorno-Karabakh was 248,726 drams – or 903 manats – in that period.

For comparison: at the end of the first six months of 2022, the average monthly salary in Azerbaijan was 827 manats, which is 9.2 percent less than the average figure in Nagorno-Karabakh.
