Number of voters increased by 7570 people in Yerevan
Armenian Central Election Committee refuted Tuesday media reports that the number of people eligible to vote in Yerevan city council elections has considerably increased.

"As of January 1, 2009, there are 2 372 021 potential voters in Armenia. 763 783 of them are Yerevan residents. As of April 20, 2009 this figure reached 771 353. Thus the number of people in Yerevan increased by 7570, at that 2511 of them are not Armenian citizens," said Tatev Ohanyan, spokesperson for the CEC.
