TURKEY AGAIN DENIED ADMISSION TO EU
The European parliament has again denied Ankara's claim to membership in the European Union. The report approved at the European parliament plenary meeting yesterday contains a call to develop the process of democratic reform more actively and make more efforts to secure human rights. The report does not mention the possible terms of letting Turkey into EU. According to the report, the ten states aspiring to membership in the organization will become full members of the European family already in 2004. After 2004 additional discussions are expected regarding two countries - Bulgaria and Romania.
