Armenia's Vachagan Hovhannisyan (70 kg weight category) has become the World Arm Wrestling Champion.

The 2024 World Championship was held in Chișinău, with Hovhannisyan defeating Kazakhstan' representative in the finals.

"Finally, after so many years, the goal is achieved — I am now the world champion! A huge thank you to everyone for the support," wrote on social media.

Another Armenian arm wrestler, Azat Srapyan, took the 3rd spot in the same category.
