Armenian-American youth protest Pashinyan's visit

Armenian-American youth responded to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit to the U.S. with a protest. They gathered in front of the Armenian Embassy in Washington, holding banners.

The banners read: "Democracy has gone off track," "Refugees are forgotten," "Artsakh has been betrayed," Aravot reports.

The protesters expressed their dissatisfaction with Armenia’s current political situation.

According to Lurer News Armenia's Facebook page, a poster was attached to the embassy wall reading: "Pashinyan will destroy Armenia."

On February 1, Nikol Pashinyan and his wife, Anna Hakobyan, traveled to the U.S. to attend the 5th annual International Religious Freedom Summit and the National Prayer Breakfast.
