On February 6, the trial of former Artsakh State Minister Ruben Vardanyan continues in Baku's military court. He faces severe accusations that could result in a life sentence.

The proceedings are presided over by Judge Zeynal Agayev. Vardanyan has been informed of his rights and provided with legal counsel. His trial is being conducted separately from other related cases.

On the same day, the trials of other Armenian detainees, including former Artsakh political and military leaders, are expected to continue. This group comprises 15 individuals, among them former Presidents Arayik Harutyunyan, Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, former National Assembly Speaker Davit Ishkhanyan, former Defense Army Chief of Staff Davit Manukyan, former Foreign Minister Davit Babayan, former Defense Army Commander Levon Mnatsakanyan, and civilians Vasili Beglaryan, Erik Ghazaryan, Davit Alaverdyan, Gurgen Stepanyan, Levon Balayan, Madat Babayan, Garik Martirosyan, and Melikset Pashayev.

In a statement on January 16, Ruben Vardanyan noted that since his arrest, he has provided no testimony beyond his name. He emphasized that all protocols bearing his signature are falsified and confirmed that he, his lawyer, and translator have been subjected to pressure.
