Armenian Minister of Justice Srbouhi Galyan met with the Czech Republic’s Ambassador to Armenia, Petr Piruncik, highlighting the importance of bilateral cooperation and reaffirming their commitment to deepening collaboration. Discussions covered legal assistance in criminal cases.
The minister emphasized that Armenia’s future aligns with European values and standards, and ongoing reforms are guided by this direction. She added that Armenia-EU cooperation has entered a new phase, where the Ministry of Justice plays a crucial role.
At the ambassador’s request, Galyan outlined the ministry’s priorities, touching on judicial reforms, court workload challenges, and case distribution processes.
The discussions also included constitutional reforms, with the minister stating that the new Constitution is expected to be finalized before the 2026 parliamentary elections.
At the end of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their readiness to continue and enhance cooperation.
