A short clip circulating on social media appears to show Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan speaking Turkish during an interview with Turkish media.

However, the Fact Investigation Platform (FIP) has determined using specialized tools that the Turkish-language speech attributed to Pashinyan—where he supposedly emphasizes the importance of Armenian-Turkish dialogue—was generated by artificial intelligence.

The video was posted on Instagram and has already garnered over 750,000 views. However, Pashinyan’s interview with Turkish media on March 13 was conducted entirely in Armenian.

According to FIP, while the video convincingly matches Pashinyan’s lip movements and speech patterns, he never made such a statement.

Additionally, FIP confirms that throughout his political career, Pashinyan has never given an interview or made a public statement in Turkish.
