Ministry of National Security of Azerbaijan investigates the implication of "Caspian fish Azerbaijan" company, which is monopolist in processing and exporting fish delicacy, in secret supplies of sturgeon and black fish eggs to Armenia. Accusation of smuggling is already put forward against a group of persons, who supplied the delicacies bought from the company to Yerevan through the Georgian territory. The investigation bodies have established that using passenger buses going to Marneuli Georgian town the detainees exported over two tons of sturgeon and fish products for the sum of some eight million dollars since November 2001. It is known that after that the main part of the production was imported to Armenia. Let us note that President Heydar Aliyev was personally present at the "Caspian fish Azerbaijan" company presentation lately, and that according to the preliminary data, the company is controlled by persons close to the circles in power.
