A group of citizens, along with Country to Live party co-founders Mane Tandilyan and Mesrop Arakelyan, gathered in front of the government building, demanding that the executive branch take active steps to secure the return of prisoners held in Baku prisons.
In a conversation with journalists, Tandilyan stated that this government has a tendency to forget the issue of prisoners, as reported by Panorama.am.
She noted that they do not expect a meeting with the government.
"This government continues its arrogant behavior, saying what should the government of Armenia do that it is not doing. We all know that they are doing nothing, but with today's action we want to remind them what should be done that is not being done. Not to mention what they are doing that hinders the prisoners," she said.
Tandilyan added that they will continue to keep this issue in the spotlight through various means.
"We must also show the world not to mock the Republic of Armenia and its citizens," Tandilyan added.
