President Vahagn Khachaturyan has signed a decree appointing Mariam Gevorgyan, Armenia’s Ambassador to Uruguay, as the country’s concurrent ambassador to Paraguay and Bolivia.

According to the decree, her seat will remain in Montevideo.

The decision was made based on the Prime Minister’s proposal, in accordance with Article 132, Part 1, Clause 2 of the Constitution, as well as Articles 13(3) and 14 of the Law on Diplomatic Service.

Mariam Gevorgyan was appointed as Ambassador to Uruguay in June 2024.
