On May 18, President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan attended the official enthronement ceremony of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV at the Holy See in the Vatican.

Distinguished guests included Italian President Sergio Mattarella, Peruvian President Dina Boluarte, and U.S. Vice President James David Vance.

More than 150 delegations from various countries and international organizations were present at the event.

The ceremony was also attended by representatives of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, various dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, and leaders of the Eastern and Western Dioceses of the Armenian Church in the United States.
