Armenia collected 948.7 billion drams in tax revenues and state duties from January to April 2025, marking a 14.5% increase, or 120 billion drams, compared to the same period last year, according to State Revenue Committee Chairman Eduard Hakobyan.
Of this total, 802.6 billion drams were collected by the tax authority—a 12.7% rise year-on-year—while 146.1 billion drams came from customs duties, showing a 25.3% increase, reports Armenpress.
Hakobyan also noted that economic operators issued 21.4 million fiscal documents during the four-month period, covering transactions worth about 5.2 trillion drams. Additionally, 242.5 million fiscal receipts were issued, with a total value of 923.2 billion drams.
In the same timeframe, 43.2 billion drams of income tax were refunded to citizens through mortgage programs.
