Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has reaffirmed Armenia's support for regional peace efforts in a message sent to King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein Al-Hashimi of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, congratulating him on the country’s 79th Independence Day.

“I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Jordan on the occasion of the national holiday — the 79th anniversary of independence.

I reaffirm the commitment of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and my personal resolve to cooperate with you in enriching the bilateral agenda and deepening political dialogue.

Armenia closely follows and supports Jordan’s efforts to establish long-term and sustainable peace in the Middle East.

Taking this opportunity, I wish you prosperity and success, and the friendly people of Jordan — enduring peace and development,” the message reads.
