Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, leader of the Holy Struggle movement, has announced the revival of street protests. The statement came during the presentation of his book “Conquering Ourselves” on May 25.

“For three to four months, we’ve been engaged in organizational work across Armenia. We’ve done immense work preparing people for street protests and civil disobedience, and I’m absolutely convinced that we will be the ones to put the final period,” the Archbishop stated, as reported by Pastinfo.

He noted that they are now on the verge of making a decisive move.

“There are just a few minor points that need to be clarified. There are no other obstacles. My main concern is not to make a mistake, but not to fail. That’s why I’m being very cautious—both in words and actions,” he added.

Archbishop Bagrat also revealed a change in his public engagement strategy.

“I’ve already announced that I’m halting live broadcasts addressing the people. These meetings will take place in different settings and formats,” he said, emphasizing that the 2026 elections must be held without the Civil Contract party.
