The office of the French Honorary Consul will officially open its doors in Goris on June 2, further solidifying France’s regional presence.

According to Armenpress, the official opening ceremony of the consulate is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m.

The French Honorary Consul in Goris will be Carmen Apunts, who currently serves as the director of a local center in the town.

Earlier, the opening of the honorary consulate in Goris was announced by Jean-Noël Baron, representative of France’s Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
