The guaranteed electricity supply license of Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC has been extended until February 1, 2029.
Electricity tariffs for 175 renewable stations—including solar, wind, and small hydro—will drop by up to 1.03% from July 2025.
The decision was based on transitional provisions set by Armenia’s amended Energy Law (No. ՀՕ-100-Ն, February 7, 2018), and the position of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, designated by the government.
The Public Services Regulatory Commission also set new electricity tariffs for renewable energy producers. These new rates will take effect on July 1, 2025.
As a result, electricity prices from 61 solar plants, 3 wind farms, and 111 small hydropower stations have been reduced by 0.66% to 1.03%. The detailed calculations and tariff data can be found via the following link:
