The Poland-Armenia Business Forum, held on May 30 and initiated by the Enterprise Armenia Foundation, was attended by Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan. In his opening remarks, the minister emphasized the significance of such forums in strengthening ties between entrepreneurs and forging new partnerships.

“This forum marks a new chapter in both bilateral economic cooperation and the evolving relationship between Armenia and Poland. These ties are built on mutual trust, shared interests, and a growing commitment to a better future together,” Papoyan stated.

He highlighted Armenia’s recent consistent efforts to improve its investment climate, modernize economic governance systems, and enhance integration with global markets.

In this context, the minister noted that the participation of Polish businesses across key sectors—industry, energy, technology, infrastructure, construction, and agriculture—aligns well with Armenia’s national development priorities.

“These are the sectors where we see high potential for investment, innovation, and mutually beneficial cooperation,” he added.

The “Crossroads of Peace” initiative was also presented at the forum, illustrating Armenia’s commitment to reopening transport routes and positioning itself as a secure and efficient gateway to neighboring markets.

Business representatives from both Armenia and Poland discussed potential cooperation across various mutually interesting sectors.

The government has developed and presented the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative, which focuses on enhancing communications among Armenia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Iran—through the construction, renovation, and operation of roads, railways, pipelines, cables, and power lines. All infrastructure will operate under the sovereignty and jurisdiction of the countries through which they pass.
