The 10th Armenia-Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum is being held at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan, with participation from Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan and Valentina Matvienko, Chair of Russia’s Federation Council.
The one-day forum addresses key issues in interstate collaboration and the strengthening of ties at the community level, according to Armenpress.
The event brings together expert groups and regional delegations from both Armenia and Russia, including governors, deputy governors, and other municipal officials.
Panel discussions at the forum focus on enhancing ties between sister cities in Armenia and Russia, expanding cooperation in e-commerce, developing humanitarian programs, boosting regional investment appeal, and creating a favorable environment for investment.
The forum will conclude with a plenary session in the afternoon, during which Alen Simonyan and Valentina Matvienko will deliver opening remarks.
Additional speeches will be delivered by Gegharkunik Governor Karen Sargsyan, Arkhangelsk Governor Alexander Tsybulsky, Shirak Governor Davit Arushanyan, and Irkutsk Governor Igor Kobzev.
The session will end with a formal bilateral document exchange ceremony.
