Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with his French counterpart Jean-Noël Barrot on the sidelines of the third United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3), held in Nice, France. Mirzoyan shared news of the meeting on X.

"Happy to see my good colleague and friend Jean-Noël Barrot once again, this time in Nice during UNOC3. Our active cooperation in multilateral platforms consistently enriches our agenda and is crucial for successfully advancing our shared priorities, such as holding the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) in Yerevan in 2026," Mirzoyan wrote.

In preparation for COP17 and at the invitation of the French Foreign Minister, Mirzoyan is attending the UN Ocean Conference in the city of Nice.
