The Prosecutor General has submitted a formal request to the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, seeking the parliament’s authorization to initiate criminal proceedings against Seyran Ohanyan, head of the Armenia opposition faction, and Artsvik Minasyan, the faction's secretary.

The information was confirmed by Movses Harutyunyan, spokesperson for the President of the National Assembly, according to Sputnik Armenia.
