Yerevan, Ankara hold deputy-level talks

Deputy Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Turkey, Vahan Kostanyan and Burak Akçapar, met in Ankara on June 16. The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the meeting via its X microblog account.

"During the meeting, views were exchanged on bilateral and regional issues," the post read.

No additional details have been provided.

Earlier, reports emerged suggesting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan may visit Ankara on June 20 to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. This information has neither been confirmed nor denied by the Prime Minister’s Office.
