Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan confirmed that he will be visiting Turkey and noted that a joint statement will be made regarding the visit’s agenda.
According to 1lurer.am , Pashinyan said that for now, he can only confirm the visit is indeed planned.
“Usually, during such visits, both sides issue a joint statement, but our partners have been somewhat impatient. Yes, such a plan exists. There will be a joint announcement about the visit's agenda.
I can confirm the visit is planned, and in order not to violate existing arrangements—especially regarding joint announcements—I will only share what is already known at this time,” he said.
Earlier, Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan had confirmed that Nikol Pashinyan would travel to Turkey at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
