Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will make a working visit to Turkey on June 20, as announced by Fahrettin Altun, Director of Communications in the Turkish Presidential Administration, in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
"During the visit, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will receive Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan in Istanbul," the post read.
On June 18, Prime Minister Pashinyan confirmed the planned trip, stating that a joint statement regarding the agenda would be issued. He noted that for now, all he could confirm was that the visit is indeed scheduled.
Earlier, Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan had confirmed that Pashinyan would travel to Turkey at Erdogan’s invitation.
