During morning raids in Ijevan and Voskepar on June25, law enforcement detained Colonel Mihhran Mahsudyan, according to his son, who reported no illegal items were found.

On the morning of June25, security forces conducted searches at his family homes in Ijevan and Voskepar, reports Aysor.am. “No illegal items were found during the searches. Nevertheless, the authorities resorted to illegality by arresting my father, Mihhran Mahsudyan. He is now being transported to the Investigative Committee. This is not only unlawful but also a clear case of political persecution,” the son wrote.
On the morning of June 25, law enforcement authorities began conducting searches at the residences of supporters of the “Holy Struggle” movement.
The Investigative Committee announced that participants and leaders of the movement known as “Holy Struggle” had planned to carry out terrorist actions and seize power in the Republic of Armenia.
On June 24, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan shared on his Facebook page an article from Civic.am titled “The Opposition’s Coup Plan” and wrote: “This process will go down in history as the ‘failed coup of the traitors’.”
