Erik Papikyan became the European champion in the under-15 wrestling championship held in Caorle, Italy, defeating his teammate Tigran Kolotyan in the final bout in the 57 kg weight category. According to the Wrestling Federation, Kolotyan claimed the silver medal.

Additionally, Aren Mirzoyan, Hamlet Antonyan, and Aren Piruzyan each secured bronze medals for Armenia.

In the 75 kg category, Artur Mkrtchyan advanced to the final after defeating Georgian athlete Gogiberidze in the semifinals. Aren Piruzyan (44 kg), Narek Dallakyan, Shahen Martirosyan (68 kg), and Meruzh Kocharyan (85 kg) will continue competing in the repechage rounds.
