CEPA is roadmap for EU-Armenia cooperation, envoy says

On July 4, representatives of the European Union delegation participated in a high-level workshop hosted by Armenia’s National Assembly and Government on the topic: “CEPA: Strengthening the link between vision and action.”

EU delegation head, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, emphasized the significance of CEPA—Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement—calling it Armenia’s “partnership roadmap” aimed at implementing sustainable reforms that benefit both citizens and the business community.

According to the ambassador, this cooperation reflects shared visions and aspirations to build a resilient, democratic Armenia that strengthens its ties with the EU and acts as a trusted partner.

The workshop served as a timely and important forum to accelerate the implementation of reforms envisioned under the CEPA framework.

The event marked the beginning of a new, more structured and responsible phase of CEPA implementation, involving both legislative and executive branches to ensure a more transparent, efficient, and accountable process.

CEPA (Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement) was signed between Armenia and the European Union on November 24, 2017, in Brussels.
