Deputy Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan, has “extended blessings” to Father Asoghik Karapetyan following the cleric’s recent curse directed at anyone who might ever dare to invade the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
“May God’s blessing always be with Father Asoghik Karapetyan. May he and his family be blessed and happy. May his loved ones and all their descendants be healthy and live in peace. Be blessed, be blessed, be blessed,” Rubinyan wrote on Facebook.
In his address, Father Asoghik Karapetyan expressed profound grief and indignation over hostile attacks carried out by “today’s authorities, who have entered into a demonic pact with dark forces,” targeting the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the entire clergy, and the Catholicos of All Armenians.
He pronounced a curse on “all those who, selling their souls to the devil, today or at any time dare to storm the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin—defiling the spiritual sanctuary of the Armenians, raising weapons against the clergy and God’s Anointed, the divinely chosen Catholicos of All Armenians, and trampling upon the sacred values of the Armenian nation.”
