Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has arrived in the United Arab Emirates on a working visit.
According to the Armenian government’s press office, Pashinyan was received at Abu Dhabi International Airport by UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
On July 9, a meeting is scheduled between Prime Minister Pashinyan and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
As previously announced by the Armenian Prime Minister’s spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan, a bilateral meeting between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, will take place in Abu Dhabi on July 10 within the framework of the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process.
Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has also arrived in the UAE on a working visit, Trend reports.
He was welcomed by UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with other high-ranking officials.
Pashinyan and Aliyev last met on May 16 in Tirana during the European Political Community summit.
