Armenia to receive duty-free quota for 15,000 EVs in 2026

Armenia will receive a duty-free quota of 15,000 electric vehicles for the year 2026. Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan announced the decision via a post on his official Facebook page.

“The decision was made moments ago during the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council session with the participation of Prime Minister Pashinyan. Further details on distribution will be published separately,” he wrote.

In 2025, under Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) regulations, Armenia was allocated an import quota of 8,000 electric vehicles, 90% of which was utilized early in the year.
