Foreign Minister meets EU ambassadors in Yerevan

Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with ambassadors of the European Union and its member states accredited in Armenia, where he reviewed achievements of 2025 and outlined key priorities for 2026.

“You are aware of the recent developments in Armenia-EU relations. Around ten days ago in Brussels, we adopted a new Armenia–EU strategic agenda. This is a comprehensive document that not only highlights the progress achieved in our bilateral ties but also maps out the areas in which we plan to deepen our cooperation,” he noted.

Mirzoyan presented Armenia’s vision, perceptions, and proposals regarding the future of Armenia–EU partnership. He expressed appreciation for the continued support shown by the European Union and its member states for Armenia’s democratic development. Among various directions of cooperation, he emphasized the importance of progress toward visa liberalization, which he said significantly promotes people-to-people contact.

The minister also briefed the diplomats on recent regional developments, including efforts to normalize relations with neighboring countries.

Mirzoyan answered additional questions raised by participants.
