Armenia to host international cycling tour in 2026

An international group cycling rally will be held in Armenia from September 10 to 13, 2026, with participants riding a route of about 500 kilometers through Yerevan and various provinces. The first meeting of the interdepartmental commission for organizing the event was chaired by Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan.

Four main routes are planned: Yerevan–Martuni, Ijevan–Stepanavan, Vanadzor–Aparan–Kari Lake, and Gyumri–Ashtarak–Vagharshapat–Yerevan.

The race is registered in the official calendar of the International Federation and will be organized in cooperation with a specialized international organization.

The event aims to promote the development of cycling and tourism in Armenia, while also enhancing the country’s international visibility.
