The European Union Monitoring Mission in Armenia announced that it is proud to contribute to peace and security in the region. The statement was shared via its official account on X.

“We are proud to contribute to peace and security in the region by maintaining 24/7 monitoring along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border,” the post reads.

A video was also published, highlighting the mission’s core activities.

The EU observation mission was deployed in Armenia in 2023 for an initial two-year period. In January 2025, the EU Council extended its mandate for another two years.
