On December 26, the trial against Artsakh’s former political and military leaders resumed at the Baku Military Court. During the session, David Ishkhanyan, Speaker of the Artsakh Parliament, was given the opportunity to deliver what was termed a final statement.

According to Azertag, Ishkhanyan presented his counterarguments to the prosecution’s claims. However, no direct quotes or details from his remarks have been disclosed.

At the December 25 session, former Artsakh Presidents Arkadi Ghukasyan and Bako Sahakyan, as well as former Defense Army Commander Levon Mnatsakanyan, denied the charges against them.
