The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Belgium has announced that, as of January 1, 2026, all previously scheduled appointments regarding “granting or termination of Armenian citizenship” have been canceled.

The decision follows the enactment of the amended Law on Citizenship of the Republic of Armenia.

“Electronic appointments for submitting applications to obtain or terminate Armenian citizenship will now be made exclusively through the electronic citizenship case management system,” the embassy’s statement said.
