
International credit rating agency Fitch Ratings has upgraded Armenia’s credit outlook, changing it to Positive and affirming it at BB-. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan shared the news on his Facebook page.
“The internationally respected Fitch Ratings agency has raised Armenia’s credit outlook to Positive and affirmed the country’s rating at BB-,” Pashinyan wrote.
“This is not merely a statistical adjustment; it is a professional confirmation that Armenia’s adopted economic policies and institutional stability are gaining qualitative weight in international markets. It represents a vote of confidence in our state’s economic resilience and political will.
Armenia’s path of economic development is entering a new phase of confidence. Congratulations to all,” he added.
