
Aram Ghazaryan has been relieved from his post as deputy minister of internal affairs and chief of police, and appointed as Director of the Rescue Service while retaining his deputy minister status. The decision was signed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
"Guided by Article 31, Part 1 of the Law on Rescue Service, Article 9, Part 7 of the Law on Public Service, and Article 11, Part 6 of the Law on Regulation of Administrative Legal Relations, Aram Ghazaryan is appointed Director of the Rescue Service and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs," the decree states.
In a separate decision, Kamo Tsutsulyan, who previously held the post of Director of the Rescue Service, has been appointed as Chief of Police and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
"Guided by Article 13, Part 2 of the Law on Service in the Police, Article 9, Part 7 of the Law on Public Service, and Article 11, Part 6 of the Law on Regulation of Administrative Legal Relations, Kamo Tsutsulyan is appointed Chief of Police and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs," reads the decree.
