Poll: Samvel Karapetyan edges past Pashinyan

Narek Karapetyan, coordinator of the Mer Dzevov movement, has shared the final results of a poll conducted by EMPIRICA, claiming the numbers show they are moving confidently toward victory.

According to the data, in a direct choice between two figures, 34% would vote for philanthropist and businessman Samvel Karapetyan, while 33% would back Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Karapetyan added that a narrow win is not enough, as they must secure an absolute majority in parliament.

“These are today’s final poll results. The survey was conducted by EMPIRICA, asking respondents whom they would choose if the race came down to these two individuals.

We are moving confidently toward victory. That’s also why Pashinyan is escalating personal attacks against us.

But a small margin is not sufficient. We must have an absolute majority in parliament. Big change requires a strong and broad political force.

To implement zero tax for businesses, create 300,000 new jobs, and deliver real economic transformation, we need genuine power and wide support.

So I call on you, keep spreading our vision. Talk to people. We are heading toward a major victory, and each of us has a role to play,” Karapetyan wrote.

Parliamentary elections in Armenia are scheduled for June 2026.
