
At an extraordinary session held on February 9, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia approved the schedule for key preparations and procedures for the regular National Assembly elections, scheduled for June 7, 2026.
According to the adopted timetable, political parties or party alliances intending to participate must apply electronically to obtain an official user account between February 9 and April 23.
Parties must submit the required registration documents to the CEC between April 13 and April 23 by 6:00 p.m. The Commission will register electoral lists from April 23 to May 3, also by 6:00 p.m.
The order of party numbers on the ballot will be determined by a lottery no later than May 3. The official campaign period is set from May 8 to June 5.
Parties and alliances must submit information about campaign billboards larger than 5 square meters, including their quantity, size, location, and rental costs, by February 17.
Media outlets seeking accreditation to cover the elections must submit their applications and representative lists to the CEC between February 7 and May 28. Applications for observer accreditation can be submitted online via the CEC website from February 7 to May 3.
Candidates listed on party slates must submit their declarations of property and income to the CEC by May 13. Parties and the individual member parties of alliances must also submit their financial declarations by the same date.
