During a joint press conference of national minority leaders, Ezids' World National Union President Aziz Tamoyan said he considered amnesty humane step. "As leader of the largest minority community in Armenia, I request Government and President to extend amnesty to a larger group of people."

Armenia is facing political tension, and amnesty will help mitigate the situation, Tamoyan stressed, adding that people under investigation should also be included in amnesty list.
