In 2025, Armenia reduced its wine export volume by 3.1%, while the average price increased by 12.7%, according to data from the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia, Sputnik Armenia reports.
Based on approximate calculations, the average value of a standard 0.7-liter bottle of exported wine stood at $2.78 in 2024 and rose to $3.24 in 2025.
Russia remains the leading importer, accounting for 72% of total exports. A similar trend has been observed in France and in most other countries, particularly Switzerland and China.
Exports to the United States have declined. However, it should be taken into account that, in absolute terms, export volumes to countries other than Russia remain small. Even changes involving one or two major suppliers can significantly affect the overall picture.
