Armenia national team head coach Yeghishe Melikyan met Henrikh Mkhitaryan in Milan following the Inter–Juventus match.

During the meeting, Mkhitaryan reaffirmed that at this stage he is focused exclusively on his club career, the Football Federation of Armenia reported.

Melikyan and Mkhitaryan discussed a range of issues related to European and Armenian football.

Earlier, Melikyan had stated: “I will definitely try to bring him back. For now, I do not know his exact position. I will know more when we meet, sit down, and talk. But I will certainly try.”
