
The Heritage party intends to take part in the upcoming parliamentary elections, party leader Raffi Hovannisian has announced.
According to him, the political force is preparing to engage in the electoral process and will soon discuss the format of its participation as well as possible cooperation with other forces, Pastinfo reports.
Armenia’s next parliamentary elections are scheduled to take place on June 7, 2026.
Participation has already been announced by Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan, former Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan with his newly created initiative Wings of Unity, former Yerevan mayor Hayk Marutyan with the New Force party, as well as the Armenian National Congress (ANC), whose prime ministerial candidate is Levon Zurabyan, and the Republic Party led by Aram Sargsyan.
Also officially declaring participation in the elections are Samvel Karapetyan’s Strong Armenia party, Gagik Tsarukyan, who has attempted to present his “Proposal to Armenia” program as a kind of “Noah’s Ark” for opposition forces, and the Armenian Vote party.
