Azerbaijan exports $4.2 million worth of goods to Armenia

In January–February 2026, Azerbaijan exported more than $4.2 million worth of goods to Armenia, according to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

The total volume of exports amounted to $4 million 220.3 thousand, the Azerbaijani outlet Haqqin.az reported.

According to the data, this accounted for about 0.12% of Azerbaijan’s total exports.

At the same time, no supplies of goods from Armenia to Azerbaijan were recorded during the same period.

On December 19, a train carrying 22 wagons of gasoline from Azerbaijan’s SOCAR company entered Armenia, followed by two additional shipments.

Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan earlier commented on the import of Azerbaijani gasoline.

“As far as I understand, purchasing this gasoline is very beneficial for Armenian citizens. I saw calls for a boycott, but I also learned that there are queues for this gasoline,” Mirzoyan said.

Responding to a question about why Azerbaijan supplies gasoline to Armenia at a low price, he said:

“Because peace has been established and cooperation should develop. Azerbaijani and Turkish cargo should also pass through our territory, and ours should pass through theirs.”
