Missile debris falls near Armenian Quarter Jerusalem

A fragment of a missile fell about 100 meters from the Armenian Quarter of Jerusalem at around 16:00 on March 20, according to a Facebook post by Aghan Gogchyan, Chancellor of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem.

“The fallen rocket fragment did not cause any human casualties or serious material damage,” the statement said.

Earlier, another piece of rocket debris had also fallen near the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

On February 28, Israel and the U.S. carried out airstrikes on Iran, resulting in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran responded with strikes toward Israel and Gulf countries hosting U.S. military bases.
