Armenia continues to be ranked among countries with a very low level of terrorism risk, according to the Global Terrorism Index 2026.
The report shows that Armenia has an almost zero score and is positioned near the bottom of the ranking—an area typically occupied by the safest countries.
In regional comparison, Armenia is close to its neighbors. Azerbaijan (93) also has a near-zero score and is included in the same group of safest countries, while Georgia (77) has a slightly higher, but still very low rating, Radar Armenia reports.
At the same time, Turkey (36) has a significantly higher score, reflecting terrorist activity and internal security challenges, while Iran (18) is also categorized among countries with above-average risk levels.
Overall, the South Caucasus is described in the report as a relatively stable region, where the impact of terrorism remains limited and does not reach the levels seen in high-risk global zones.
